Art Director Via Training, LLC March, 2002 to present -- toggle detail --
Summary: I was sourced by Via as a contract Senior Interactive Designer in March of 2002 and was shortly hired full time. Soon after, I was promoted to the Graphics Team Lead and promoted again to Art Director. As Art Director, I led and directed Interactive Designers in five separate client accounts simultaneously among them Hewlett-Packard, Avon and Freightliner.
Responsibilities: My work as Art Director covered a large range of duties, among them were:
As an Art Director - the direction of the creative process, production processes, interective media design and programming, pagination, illustration, image manipulation, audio and video As a manager - interviewing new design candidates, writing peer reviews, scheduling workloads and resourcing projects As a mentor - training new hires, the creation and documentation of process and development guidelines As a client strategist - leading client meetings and events, creating account initiatives, spearheading and writing marketing initiatives As a global leader and strategist - I acted as the graphic and technical lead on the Global Task Team charged with transitioning the workflow and culture of a small training company to a multi-national entity. As a branding and positioning expert - I acted as design lead in the rebranding of Via Training and redesigned the company logo and collateral system including a complete overhaul of the web site.

Interactive Design Director Flying Rhinoceros, LLC April 1999 to October 2001 -- toggle detail --
Summary: I was hired as Marketing Communications Producer by Flying Rhinoceros shortly following the CBS debut of their internationally sydicated animated childrens educational program, Flying Rhino Jr. High. My initial focus was solidification of the corprate image and the design around procurement of new business. I also acted as technical support, both application and system, for the other emlpoyees during this period. After an influx of venture capital, I was given the oportunity to plan and hire a new interactive design division of the company and was shortly promoted to Interactive Deisgn Director. In this position, I directed a team of designers, programmers, and animators in the creation of online media content.
